William Johnson, President
Will Johnson is currently a Sergeant with the Sandy Springs Police Department as a Supervisor over the Narcotics and Vice Unit. Sergeant Johnson began his law enforcement career with the Dekalb County Police Department in 2007. Sergeant Will Johnson started at the Sandy Springs Police Department in 2013 after previously working for the United States Secret Service Uniformed Division. He currently serves as the Deputy Commander with the North Metro SWAT Crisis Negotiation Team.
He obtained a Bachelor's degree from Herzing University in Homeland Security, specializing in counter terrorism. Additionally, he is a graduate of the University of Louisville Southern Police Institutes 144th Administrative Officers Course. He is also enrolled in the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police 88th Command College at Columbus State University, pursuing his Masters in Public Administration. Sergeant Johnson also sits on the board of the Sandy Springs Benevolent fund and previously served as Lodge 82’s secretary.

Mike Goode, 1st Vice President
Mike Goode is a 34 year retired law enforcement officer. Mike spent 26 years with Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office rising through the ranks and retiring as a Lieutenant in uniform patrol. After leaving, Mike helped start a new police department in Brookhaven in 2013 and worked as a Sergeant until he retired after 8 years of service there.
Mike enjoys boating, hiking, traveling, fishing, spending time with his family and friends.

Mike Nelson, 2nd Vice President
Mike Nelson is currently a Lieutenant with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office where he is assigned to the Training Unit as the Manager of the UNG-Forsyth Public Safety Academy. Mike Nelson has been in law enforcement for over 25 years and has many certifications that include Senior Firearms Instruction, Defensive Tactics, and Driving Instructor.
Mike Nelson grew up in Cobb County Ga and started his law enforcement career with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. Mike is married to Detective Lora Hoek and they have two adult children. Barret is currently serving in the Air Force and Brody is a manager for a Water Restoration Company. When not working, Mike enjoys spending time with family and playing golf.

Charles Needham, Treasurer
Charles Needham is a resident of Forsyth County and is currently a Detective with the Sandy Springs Police Department. He has served the citizens of Sandy Springs since 2016. Prior to policing, Needham was employed at Beaver Manufacturing where he served as a Technical Account Manager. He assisted in product development and controlling quality issues for Industrial, Automotive and Oil/Gas hose manufacturers.
Charles Needham was raised in Covington, Ga and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology from Jacksonville University.

Jon Witkowski, Secretary
Jon Witkowski started his police career with the Gwinnett County Police Department where he served from 2009-2015. With GCPD, He served as a patrol officer and a field training officer (FTO). In 2015, He retired from GCPD and was hired by the Sandy Springs Police Department. He began as a patrol officer and also served as a field training officer.
In 2017, He joined the SSPD Narcotics unit. In 2019, Witkowski became a Task Force Officer with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) Strike Force – Narcotics. Jon Witkowski currently serves as a Detective with SSPD where he's involved in narcotics investigations.

Allan Frampton, 1st Sergeant at Arms
Allan Frampton is a Captain with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office where he has served for the last 22 years. He currently presides as the Division Commander of the Judicial Operations Division. Allan has been an FOP Member for the past 20+ years and has served on the OIIF Board for the last 7+ years. He was a member of the FCSO Honor Guard from 2002-2016, has been a certified officer since 1988 and is a Marine Corp Veteran.
Allan is married to his wife, Kim Frampton. Has 1 Son, Jared and Two Beautiful Granddaughters, Teagan and Amelia. Allan and Kim frequently rescue/foster animals from the Forsyth County Humane Society and have done so for the past 15 years. Allan looks forward to continuing to serve on the FOP Board and helping the organization grow to help our members.

John Mullin, 2nd Sergeant at Arms
John Mullin is a resident of Forsyth County and Chief of the City of Lawrenceville Police Department with 25 years of public service experience. He started his law enforcement career in 1997 after graduating from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He worked for the Fulton County Police Department until 2006 when he joined the Sandy Springs Police Department as one of its original 86 officers. He worked his way up the ranks retiring as a Major in 2021 to take a role at Forsyth County Government as Director over Code Compliance, Animal Services, and the Park Rangers. He was appointed Chief of Police of the Lawrenceville Police Department in December of 2022.
John has a master's degree in public administration from Columbus State University. He is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville and a graduate of the Senior Management Institute for Police. Chief Mullin was also a part of the 25th Delegation to Israel with the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange (GILEE) through Georgia State University.

Sal Ortega, Chaplain
Sal Ortega joined the Sandy Springs Police Department in 2009 and has more than 17 years of law enforcement experience. He currently holds the rank of Sergeant and assigned to the Street Crimes Unit within the Special Operations Division. His assignments have included Uniform Patrol, Field Training Officer (FTO), Criminal Investigations, Public Information Officer, Community Affairs, Crisis Negotiations Team, Computer Forensics, Criminal Intelligence, and Honor Guard. His law enforcement career began in 2005 with the Armstrong Atlantic State University Police Department, where he spent four years. Sergeant Ortega also spent one year working with the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Intelligence Unit.
Sal is a Forsyth County resident where he happily lives with his wife and 4 year old son.

Chris Shelton, State Trustee
Chris Shelton has a long history with our FOP Lodge. He became a Georgia FOP Member in 1994 and has served on our FOP Board since 1996. He served as the Vice President from 1996 to 1997, served as the President from 1997 to 2000, 2004 to 2007, and 2011 to 2013. He has also served as the State Trustee from 2001-2004, 2008 to 2011, and 2014-current.
Chris Shelton began his law enforcement career in Florida where he also was a member of the Florida FOP. He then moved to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office where he served as a DS II, Corporal and Sergeant from 1994 to 2013. He served in Uniform Patrol, Special Operations, Traffic, Marine Patrol and Motor Unit during his career with FCSO. He then moved to Brookhaven PD where he served as a Sergeant and Lieutenant in Uniform Patrol. He is currently serving as a Deputy Coroner for Forsyth County Coroner's Office.

Taylor Land, Operations/Marketing Manager
Taylor Land is 25 years old and the daughter of the late Sgt. David P. Land, whom our lodge is named after. Taylor is currently working for a Marketing company in Forsyth County. Taylor has obtained a BS in Psychology and a BBA in Marketing from Kennesaw State University. She also is currently working on her MBA from KSU.
Throughout college, Taylor chose to volunteer her time and marketing knowledge to the FOP Lodge and various other law enforcement non-profits. Taylor spends her time off from work attending country concerts, spending time with friends and working on marketing projects.
